INFANT AND CHILDCARE

Singapore’s first intergenerational learning centre, focusing on experiential learning and the formation of important values such as love and respect.

Infant and Childcare

At St Joseph’s Home Infant & Childcare Centre, we respect the needs of each child and understand that each child is a gift from God.

Our vision is to provide holistic education to build character and confidence. Our belief is that the heart of education is the same as the heart of care. Person-centred, and cultivated with love and compassion.

Our infant and childcare service offers your child all the benefits of regular infant / childcare plus additional interaction time with Aunty Wong and Grandpa Fernandez. In a multi-generational environment, your child learns important language and motor skills, and values of mutual respect and love.

Intergenerational Curriculum

Nestled within a nursing home and hospice, our children experience a unique and integrative inter-generational curriculum. Children learn about the world, language, numeracy, arts, nature through experiential play and with multi-generations.

Six Learning Domains

We focus on six learning domains. Each domain contributes to the holistic development of every child. They are:
1) Aesthetics and Creative Expression
2) Discovery of the World
3) Language and Literacy
4) Motor Skills Development
5) Numeracy
) Social and Emotional Development

Our outdoor learning spaces encourages daily exploration and discovery for our children. Aside from expansive walkways and a big garden, we have our very own chicken coop and bird aviary.
