Volunteering with us
How do I become a volunteer?
Kindly complete our volunteer Application Form. This will take you to the Catholic Welfare Services (CWS) volunteer sign-up page, our parent organisation. A working email address is required. Once submitted, we will get in touch with you.
Who can volunteer at St Joseph’s Home?
We welcome anyone who is interested in the healthcare and/or eldercare sector! Please note that we require our volunteers to be aged 18 and above.
Can I volunteer with my friend?
Of course! Please note that you and your friend would need to sign up individually.

Can foreigners apply to be a volunteer?
Yes, foreigners are welcomed to volunteer with us.
Are there any pre-requisites?
As long as you have a passion to serve and willingness to learn, we welcome you as our volunteer. For pre-requisites for specific programmes, please refer to our list of volunteering opportunities.

Can I collaborate with St Joseph’s Home and plan my own Volunteer Programme?
Our volunteer programmes are designed to champion holistic and person-centred care, and so they range from supporting our care services to organising activities to enhance our residents’ experience.

Do you provide volunteer acknowledgement letters?
Please let us know that you require volunteer acknowledgement letters during your volunteer application.
What should I do if I am sick or need to take a break?
Please feel free to inform or speak with your Volunteer Managers.
