HYDROTHERAPY

The only end-to-end hydrotherapy service in the West

What is hydrotherapy?

‘Hydro’ means ‘water’ and hydrotherapy refers to the use of water to provide therapy. During a typical hydrotherapy session, you will be guided through a series of exercises while submerged in warm water.

Because of the unique features of hydrotherapy, you get a safe and functional way to rehabilitate. You may even be allowed to begin hydrotherapy earlier than land-based therapy.

Who can benefit from hydrotherapy?

The short answer is – everyone! Hydrotherapy is suitable for various acute and chronic conditions, such as:
Ø  Osteoarthritis
Ø  Back and Neck pain
Ø  Chronic pain / Sprain / Strain
Ø  Pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation
Ø  Any condition requiring controlled loading (e.g. bone stress reaction, tendinopathy)
Ø Gradual return to exercise after inactivity (e.g. reconditioning in the elderly)
Ø Poor balance / Falls prevention
